Centralised Face Recognition Attendance & Door Access for a Multi-Site Oil & Gas Company

An anonymous oil & gas company with operations in Kuala Lumpur, Pahang and Terengganu needed a more centralised way to manage attendance while introducing biometric door access at selected sites.

THE CHALLENGE

Replacing Standalone Fingerprint Attendance Across Multiple Locations

The client was using an older fingerprint attendance system that was difficult for HR to monitor centrally. Attendance data was fragmented across locations, and there was no integrated door-access layer at selected premises.

The goal was to simplify HR monitoring while introducing a more unified attendance and physical-access environment.

CUBYTE SOFT SOLUTION

Timetera Cloud Attendance with Face Recognition and Door Access

Cubyte Soft deployed Timetera face-recognition terminals connected to a central cloud attendance environment. Selected TT-52AI terminals were configured for access control, while a TT-51AI was used as a dedicated attendance terminal.

The deployment included installation, configuration, commissioning and the required door-access components at selected entry points.

Deployment Scope

  • 2 × Timetera TT-52AI with access control
  • 1 × Timetera TT-51AI for attendance
  • Timetera Cloud Attendance
  • Door locking and exit components
  • Power supply and battery backup
  • Installation and commissioning

THE RESULT

One Central Attendance View with Selected Biometric Door Access

Attendance information from the different operating locations can now be managed more centrally, giving HR better visibility without relying on separate standalone fingerprint databases. Selected premises also gained biometric access control, creating a more consistent attendance and access workflow.
